HARMAN by Hahnemühle is the paper of choice for renowned photographers

Bettina Rheims - Gender Studies
HARMAN and Hahnemühle are pleased that international acclaimed French photographer Bettina Rheims presents her current project 'Gender Studies' on HARMAN by Hahnemühle GLOSS ART FIBRE paper. Focusing on the topic of transgender, in 2011 the artist created a fascinating portrait series of 25 people who evade the categorization of male and female. The project, which was initially a call out on Facebook for people who feel 'different', evolved for Bettina Rheims into an intense project with young transgender who fascinated her through their androgyny and transsexuality. The artistic study of people who act beyond normative and partly stereotyped classifications of gender is presented in large size photographs until December, 8 at gallery Camerawork, Berlin.

Stefan Milev - Vulnerabsurdisme

For the German-French fashion designer duo AUGUSTIN TEBOUL photographer Stefan Milev presents a selection of couture in the exhibition 'Vulnerabsurdisme' on HARMAN by Hahnemühle MATT COTTON SMOOTH paper. Milev photographed polaroids of fragile fashion designs on the edge between ready-to-wear and haute couture completely designed in black. The Hahnemühle Certified Studio recom scanned each 8 x 10 inch polaroid and printed the fashion shoots. AUGUSTIN TEBOUL presents a modern romanticism in a twisted way realised with a complex hand craft, mixing sobriety and extravagance. Black variations are created within works of transparencies, leather, knitwear and embroideries and brought to stunning prints in a size of 1.5 metre by 2 metres. "Feel and intensity of the MATT COTTON SMOOTH paper corresponds in a magnificent way with AUGUSTIN TEBOUL designs" stated photographer Stefan Milev at the exhibition 'Vulnerabsurdisme'. On display until December, 7 in gallery Joyce, Paris.
